Probably my favorite place in Ybor, if not all Tampa. Awesome food, great drinks (beer AND cocktails) and great live jazz on the weekends. Great spot for a dinner date or to watch the game. The owner and employees are very involved, friendly, and truly take pride in the place...hard to find these days.

Recently heard of this and decided to stop by while in the area - so glad my friend and I did. Sitting at the bar gave a unique view of the brewing drums and ambience inside the place without feeling crowded. Bartender was very attentive and made great recommendations! We ended up getting a 4oz of every single beer on tap to try and weren't disappointed - get the rocksteady bock or new day ipa...

...The Purple Lambo beer is amazing, must try! I got the baked oysters. And let me tell you.... Freaking amazing. I wasn't very hungry and I could have settled with just that. I'm going back just for those oysters. I also got the shrimp which was tasty as well, I just wasn't a huge fan of the soggy bread underneath. The broth was yummy nonetheless...

The atmosphere at Zydeco is great. They offer food and drink specials, have a decent sized menu, and a full bar. We ordered the shrimp and grits, and it was amazing. Our friends ordered the wings/fries and the huge pretzel (both specials) and the chicken sandwich on the menu. Everything was great!

I REALLY enjoy the food. The shrimp and grits is perfection. I'd never had boiled peanuts before and it surprisingly tasted like beans but it was GOOD! The creole salad is probably the best salad I've ever tasted. It's very savory and the crawfish is delicious. The salad dressing is seasoned and creamy...Definitely would recommend
